A Disorganized Man’s Tips On How To Keep A Bedroom Spotless

Aside from what commercials have led us to believe, there is no joy for most of us in cleaning a room. Sure the finished product is always very nice and you feel a sense of accomplishment after cleaning, but the process itself is not enjoyable for the majority of us.

Here are some easy to follow tips to help clean your room and keep it clean.

One easy to way to keep excess dust in check is to get a dust buster. They don’t take up much space and can be purchased for pretty cheap. They are great at sucking up large piles of dust that always seem to form in any room.

Another way to clean up dirt is to purchase a compact sweeper, like a Swiffer WetJet. This is a great way to keep a clean and shiny floor if you don’t have room for a mop and bucket.

The most important way to keep your room clean is to get into a habit of making your bed in the morning. If your bed is made, it gives the rest of your room the appearance of being clean even if it is not.

If you are like me, then you may instinctively throw clothes on the couch after a long day at the office, or take off your socks and never see them again. Get in the habit of putting dirty clothes in the laundry bin. It will prevent you from having to pick up stray socks from under the bed later on.

Try to clean your windows once every few weeks. They have a tendency to get very dirty fast.

Another step to take is to make sure your shoes are always together. Somehow shoes have a tendency to get away from each other, but if you keep them together, then they will take up half the space.
